For this project, my professor asked us to design for a food and wine magazine geared toward millennials. We named our magazine Wine & Dine and designed our own magazine with the provided materials, such as pictures, articles, and ads.
Social Media |
San Antonio Bakery, Social Media Audit
This shows the work I have done as San Antonio Bakery’s Social Media Assistant. I have used this platform to promote the company’s products. I’ve created content as well as captured the images posted on the platform.
For this project, my team members and I were a part of a mock PR agency where we originated a social media audit for a nonprofit with immediate ways it could improve its online presence.
Events |
Professional Event Planning, Beach Media, LBSU Athletics
For my professional event planning class, my group and I planned an event for CSULB students to celebrate the Day of the Dead. This was an informative event that shared the culture with many students. There were about 60 attendees. This shows how I have been able to work in a team to plan an event that fostered community engagement.

Every semester CSULB hosts a week of welcome where students get to learn about student clubs and organization. For this event, my fellow intern and I planned the activities for the four different tables we had showcasing the student publications on campus. Here I was able to oversee giveaways and connect with students one on one. Attendees: more than 150

Every spring semester the journalism and public relations department hosts a JPR Day where students can network and hear from guest speakers. As part of my internship, my fellow intern and I planned the activities for this table. When students came up to us we shared some details on how they get involved with student media. Attendees: 30-50

Since August 2024, I have been interning with the LBSU Athletics Department as a marketing intern. As an intern I have coordinated raffles, giveaways, and game-day experiences for fans to enjoy. I have also facilitated communication between the band, cheer, and marketing team during game-days to provide a good experience to the crowd.

Campaigns |
Public Relations Management and Campaigns
For my public relations management and campaigns class my group and I were able to work for a student-run publication (ENYE) on campus. We were asked to develop a campaign to help announce their rebrand and garner more readers and recognition. Together we developed a campaign book that analyzed the publication and shared our objectives, tactics and strategies for the campaign. We also developed a press release, a short video, and an infographic. Following are a few images from the campaign book.
